Ontonagon and Gogebic counties offer a wide variety of
hunting opportunities. You’ll have access to thousands of
acres of prime hunting land, both private and public. The
Upper Peninsula of Michigan has been a hunters paradise
for many years and with all the excellent programs that
the Michigan DNR has instituted, it should be your best bet
for a trophy for many years to come.
Deer, black bear and grouse hunting is excellent in the fall
months. The deer hunting is so good in the area, a buck was
taken within two hours of the first bow hunt on the north
end of the cabin property.
