Sylvania Outfitters owner, Bob Zelinski has operated
Sylvania Outfitters, Inc.for over thirty years. Bob will get
you outfitted for all your canoeing and camping plans.
Bob rents canoes in four sizes, from 13 to 18 feet, and
kayaks rent for $24 to $32 aday, including vests, carrying
yoke, and car-top carrier. Rentals can be taken anywhere
on a customer's rented car top carrier. The slow, scenic
Brule River near Iron River is a family favorite. River trips
are by reservation only.
Sylvania Outfitters sells USGS and lake maps, tackle, bait,
freeze-dried foods, and field-tested accessories like cooking
kits, foam pads, paddles, clothing, etc. and makes referrals
for area fishing guides.
Sylvania Outfitters is located just one mile west of Watersmeet,
Michigan on U. S. Highway 2 only 30 minutes from Drew’s cabin.
Business hours are 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during
the summer, 8:30-6 in spring and fall, 10-5 in winter. |
